Classical homeopathy by Hahnemann

Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann was born as the son of a porcelain painter on April 10th,1755 in Meissen town. He was the third among four children. He was known as very talented student, and he was promoted by his teacher, for enabling him to attend middle-class provincial school. That privilege was only granted to aristocracy and to higher class (bourgeois) people.

Many years after having studied medicine, he was very disappointed, and he decided to continue his training in Wien City, with Dr. Josef von Quarin, on his own expense. Having lost it, he had to cancel his studies.

In 1779 he moved to Erlangen, where he postgraduated to the title ´Doctor of Natural Medizine´. In1780, his first establishment as a doctor was in Hettstedt near Mansfeld. But in those times, the healing methods caused the strongest criticism in him, and disappointed again by that medicine, he saw himself forced to bring his practice to an end.

He moved to Dessau being engaged in chemistry, at a pharmaceutical laboratory. Soon thereafter, he became a physicist in Gommern, one year later, he marries in the age of 31. During the next twenty years, he went along country roads along with his growing family suffering hunger and more and more dispairing of medical profession.

He worked as translator publishing the first book of his own "Instruction to heal old damages and bad ulcers thoroughly". Again, he continues as a translator writing a book for chemical industry. In this year, As doctor, Hahnemann gave his existence up." In this way to become a morderer or deteriorator of my human brethren´s life, that´s for me the most tremendous thought. "

He lost his profession, his existential means, and his prestige. He is completely penetrated by the thought the human dignity about.

Doctor´s highest and unique profession is this, to ill persons healthy, which is named HEALING.

The highest principle of healing is this, rapid, smooth and steady recovering of health, or removing of the illness in its whole scope, on the shortest, most reliable and most advantagious way, according to clearly evident reasons! 1790 is the birth year of classic homoeopathy!

By his translation of Materia Medica from William Cullen, the iniciating thought is born in Hahnemann. That had written several pages about the effect of ´China bark´ during changing fever. Hahnemann was convinced, that the effect of China bark would cause similar effect both with healthy as with ill persons. This was his first medical test with himself, which proved his assumtion. Hahnemann discovered a healing system, by which the still functioning regulating mechanisms of an ill creature can be stimulated. The medicine stimulates the self-healing tendency of Organism.
